Maryam Mastoor is working as a research analyst at the Institute of Regional Studies (IRS). She leads research on the region of Jammu and Kashmir and internal politics of India, at the Institute. Presviously, she has worked on the political parties of Bangladesh and post 9/11 dynamics in Afghanistan, other than politics of India. Besides working at IRS, she has also worked at CERI, (France) and National Defence University (NDU). She has taught as visiting faculty at NDU and Foreign Service Academy, Pakistan. She is currently enrolled as a Doctoral student at Area Study Center at Quaid e Azam University.
